Latest news from the Citizens Advice Bureau is that they are putting out to tender a 12 month contract to reccomend 1 debt management company from 100 of ther 394 National offices.
This is big news as the CAB currently receives 2.4 million telephone calls a year, so the winner of this contract will have to handle aproximately one fifth of this traffic. It really does show that in order to service the levels of debt that there are in the UK that all sectors of the debt advice market need to pull together to help the vast numbers of people that are struggling to pay their bills and are struggling with money debts month to month.
